Add to existing company setup
Submit a request to your service team to add AR (withholding) and/or ARSUI (unemployment) to your company setup. Please include the below with your request:
Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration
- Withholding – Deposit Frequency and Account number. If you’re unsure of your deposit frequency or account number, you can call the agency at 501-682-7290.
Arkansas Department of Workforce Services
- Unemployment – Tax rate and Account number. This can be found on a Tax Rate Notice or the Quarterly contribution and wage report. If you’re unsure of your tax rate or account number, you can call the agency at 501-682-3798.
Power of Attorney – POA is required, please obtain the prefilled form from your client service representative.
Register a new company
Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration
Visit https://atap.arkansas.gov/_/ and select Register a New Business. This is found under the Quick Links section at the bottom of the page to register and obtain a tax account number.
Once you’ve received your account number, navigate back to https://atap.arkansas.gov/_/ and select SIGN UP.
You should receive your account number and deposit frequency by mail in 1-2 weeks.
Arkansas Department of Workforce Services
Visit https://www.workforce.arkansas.gov/Tax21/FirstTimeUserOption.aspx to complete the online registration. You will receive your account number via email.
Third Party Registration and/or Power of Attorney Instructions
Power of Attorney upon request, please obtain the prefilled form from your client service representative.
